About measures for the organization of the Uzbek Academy of agricultural sciences under the Ministry of Agriculture

For the purpose of increase in role of science in the field of agricultural industry in mitigation of the consequences of climate change, observed in recent years in our country, prevention of environmental problems, satisfaction of the growing demand of the population for food products and the industry on raw materials, sustainable development of economy and increase in the export potential, and also creation of single system of management and regulation of innovative activities I decide:

I. Main objectives and priority directions

1. Determine main objectives of scientific and innovative development of the sphere of agricultural industry in the republic, increases in effectiveness of basic and applied researches, preparation of highly qualified scientific personnel till 2030 increase:

(a) by 3 times of number of the patented new scientific developments and technologies in the field of agricultural industry;

(b) twice the number of Articles published in the international scientific publications;

(c) twice the number of the projects represented on tenders within state programs on scientific activities;

(d) by 4 times of scope of the subjects using services of agroconsultations and transfer of the advanced foreign agrotechnologies;

(e) by 3 times of number of the scientific research performed within international cooperation.

II. Enhancement of public administration in the field of agricultural science

2. Agree with offers of the Ministry of Agriculture, Academy of Sciences and Ministry of the higher education, science and innovations:

(a) about creation of the Uzbek academy of agricultural sciences under the Ministry of Agriculture (further - Academy) based on National knowledge center and innovations in agricultural industry under the Ministry of Agriculture;

(b) about transfer in organizational structure of Academy of the scientific organizations in system of the ministries and departments according to appendix No. 1*.
