About breeding case in livestock production of the Kyrgyz Republic

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. The basic concepts applied in this Law

In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:

1) approbation - determination of compliance of complete group of animals of one type to requirements who allow to establish their belonging to certain breed, type, the line, cross-country of animals;

2) boniter - the physical person performing activities for rendering services in appraisal of quality;

3) appraisal of quality - determination of level of breeding value of animals on complex of economic and useful signs (breed, productive qualities, eksteryerno-constitutional features) with assignment of the corresponding class or index;

4) buffer zone - the territory having the special level of biological and veterinary protection on which economic activity is limited;

5) genomic assessment - determination of breeding value at the earliest age for further cultivation on the basis of genomic information of animal;

6) genomic selection - method of establishment of interrelation between structure of deoxyribonucleic acid markers (DNA) of animal and his exterior, identification and fixing of valuable signs of productive qualities of population;

7) the state control (supervision) in the field of breeding livestock production - set of actions of the officials of authorized state body aimed at ensuring compliance with requirements of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic by physical persons and legal entities in the field of breeding livestock production;

8) the distribyyutorny center for realization of seed of breeding animals (further - the distribyyutorny center) - the legal entity performing activities in the field of breeding livestock production for acquisition, storage and realization of the seed estimated on quality of posterity of breeding animals - producers;
