About introduction of amendments to the Disciplinary charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Charter of internal service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Disciplinary charter of service of civil protection on enhancement of mechanisms of ensuring military discipline, prevention and counteraction to manifestations of discrimination and sexual harassments

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1) in the Charter of internal service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approved by the Law of Ukraine "About the Charter of internal service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 22-23, of Art. 194 with the following changes):

a) add Article 12 with part two of the following content:

"The serviceman to whom it became direct or indirectly it is known, including when implementing office activities, about the facts connected with discrimination on the basis of floor, making of sexual harassments, violence on the basis of sex, offenses against sexual freedom and sexual integrity in military collective shall report also on such facts on the representative of responsible division concerning providing the equal rights and opportunities of women and men or to the adviser for questions of providing the equal rights and opportunities of women and men, prevention and counteraction to violence on the basis of sex";

b) add Article 14 with part two of the following content:

"Concerning cases of making of sexual harassments, violence on the basis of sex, offenses against sexual freedom and sexual integrity the serviceman shall address also the representative of responsible division concerning providing the equal rights and opportunities of women and men or to the adviser for questions of providing the equal rights and opportunities of women and men, prevention and counteractions to violence on the basis of sex";
