About modification of article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About mobilization preparation and mobilization" concerning provision of draft deferment on military service during mobilization to some categories of citizens

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About mobilization preparation and mobilization" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2005, No. 16, Art. 255 with the following changes) the following changes:

1. To add article 23 after part six with new part of the following content:

"7. Are not subject to conscription during mobilization within 12 months from the date of dismissal from military service persons liable for call-up and reservists who during action of warlike situation were accepted on military service under the contract for a period of one year from among citizens aged from 18 up to 25 years and are discharged from military service on the bases determined by the subitem "an" of Item 2, the subitem "zh" of Item 3 parts five of article 26 of the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service". Such persons during the specified period can be called up for military service from their consent".

With respect thereto the seventh - the ninth to consider parts respectively parts eight - the tenth.

2. Add the Section VII "Final provisions" with item 4 of the following content:

"4. Determine what is temporary, during action of martial law in Ukraine imposed by the Presidential decree of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 No. 64/2022 "About introduction of warlike situation in Ukraine", the approved Law of Ukraine "About approval of the Presidential decree of Ukraine "About introduction of warlike situation in Ukraine" of February 24, 2022 No. 2102-IX and within two years after its termination or cancellation:

the limiting age limit of stay in public service established by part four of article 83 of the Law of Ukraine "About public service" is applied taking into account increase in such limit for five years;
