In our country the large-scale work directed to radical enhancement of the institutional and legal basis of reliable protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of children is carried out.
At the same time today there is need of further strengthening of protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of children, their protection against sexual violence, determination of specific mechanisms of attraction them as witnesses in criminal procedure.
This Law in the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility establishes responsibility for making of dissolute actions concerning children with use of the world information Internet. Also the additions and changes determining the general duration of interrogation of the minor witness or victim within one day and also procedure for participation of legal representatives in the course of their interrogation are made to the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This Law serves the prevention of crimes, ensuring inevitability of punishment for the committed crimes, and also protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of children.
