About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning refining of powers of the centers of recruiting
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:
1. Part the eighth article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, No. 38, Art. 324; 2024, 19, 78) to state No. to the Art. in the following edition:
"8. The center of recruiting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is separate division which is created in types, separate types of military forces (forces) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and performs conducting military accounting. The centers of recruiting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are intended for realization of tasks on development of opportunities for recruiting of citizens of Ukraine for passing of military service under the contract on positions of persons ordinary, sergeant and foreman, and also officers, receipt in the highest military educational institutions and institutions of higher education incorporating military institutes, faculties of military preparation, department of military preparation, department of military preparation, and also organization of professional prehigher military education, maintenance of appeal of citizens of Ukraine on military service during mobilization for the special period.
The centers of recruiting created as forms of interaction of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and local public administrations, local government bodies based on the concluded memorandums of interaction and cooperation with the purpose of involvement of citizens of Ukraine to military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine created according to the laws of Ukraine other military forming, law enforcement and prospecting agencies, bodies of special purpose with law-enforcement functions to which the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine assign functions on ensuring defense of the state have information and consulting nature and do not perform conducting military accounting.
