About modification of appendix to the Law on approval of the Combined commodity nomenclature No. 172/2014
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In appendix to the Law on approval of the Combined commodity nomenclature No. 172/2014 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2014, Art. No. 231-237, 529), with subsequent changes, to add the Section "APPLICATION of CUSTOMS DUTIES" with Item 12 of the following content:
"12. The customs duty is not collected in case of commodity importation, coming from the United States of America, on condition of submission of the certificate of origin issued by competent authority of the country of departure, except for the goods included in goods items 0201, of 0202, of 0203, of 0207, of 0401, of 0405, of 1601, of 1602, of 1701, of 1702, concerning which customs duty is levied according to this law.".
Art. II. - In departure from part (2) article 56 of the Law on regulations No. 100/2017 this law becomes effective since July 1, 2026.
