About modification of some regulations (improvement of the mechanism of voluntary enlargement of administrative and territorial units)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - Item 13-1 of the Regulations on procedure for the solution of questions of the administrative-territorial device of the Republic of Moldova approved by the Law No. 741/1996 (1996, Art. No. 20-21, 216), with subsequent changes, to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with words ", or the name chosen and offered Parliament by local councils of the administrative and territorial units participating in the corresponding process of voluntary enlargement, according to the procedure, the established Law on voluntary enlargement of administrative and territorial units No. 225/2023".

Art. II. - In part (5) article 19 of the Law on local public authority No. 436/2006 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, Art. No. 32-35, 116), with subsequent changes, to exclude the words "and solutions of rather voluntary enlargement together with other administrative and territorial units".

Art. III. - In the Law on voluntary enlargement of administrative and territorial units No. 225/2023 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, Art. No. 318-321, 562) to make the following changes:

1. In Article 2 in the concept "the administrative center of the enlarged administrative and territorial unit (the administrative center of the enlarged ATE)" the text "located, as a rule, is closer than the others to the geographical center of the territory of the enlarged administrative and territorial unit," to exclude;

2. In part (1) Article 5:
