About modification and amendments in the Law "About Education"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on January 20, 2026
Article 1. In Article 5, parts 1, Item 1 of the Law No. 297-ZR of April 14, 1999. "About education" (further referred to as with the Law) the word "ecological" is replaced with the word "ecological".
Article 2. In Article 17, parts 1, item 4 of the Law of the word "nature and environmental protection" are shall be replaced with words "the nature, the environment and climate".
Article 3. In Article 18, of part 2, Item 1 of the Law after the word "nature" to add the word "climate", and in the same Item to replace the word "environmental protection" with the word "ecology".
Article 4. In parts 1, 3 and 4 articles 20 of the Law the word "ecological" is replaced with the word "ecological".
Article 5. This law becomes effective next day after its official publication.
