About modification and amendments in the Code of health care of the Republic of Tajikistan

Article 1. Bring in the Code of health care of the Republic of Tajikistan of May 30, 2017 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2017, No. 5, h 1, Art. 270; 2021, No. 1-2, of Art. 12; 2024, No. 1-2, of Art. 17; 2025, No. 1-2, of Art. 882. St 883) following changes and amendments:

1. In Article 1:

- add with the paragraph the eighteenth the following content:

"-excess weight of body – the condition exceeding body weight regulations, which is determined by establishment of index of body weight;";

- the nineteenth to state the paragraph in the following edition:

"-means of self-checking – the devices providing possibility of independent measurement and system of permanent monitoring of level of sugar in blood;";

- add with the paragraph the twenty ninth the following content:

"-healthy food – process of coherence of all nutrients taking into account the quantity, quality and factors which are not developed in organism which meets physiological the requirement of organism depending on sex, age, labor activity and others;";

- the thirty fifth to state the paragraph in the following edition:

"-diabetes – the chronic disease which is characterized by permanent increase in level of sugar in blood, resulting from insufficiency or violation of effect of insulin (pancreas hormone);";

- add with paragraphs the thirty sixth and thirty seventh the following content:

"-diabetes of 1 type – disease in case of which the pancreas does not produce insulin and to organism insulin injections are necessary;

"-diabetes 2 types – disease in case of which the organism inefficiently uses insulin, becoming the reason of increase in level of sugar in blood in case of which the patient should accept antidiabetic medicines or insulin according to the recommendation of the doctor;";

- add with the paragraph forty third the following content:
