About entering of the amendments and changes into some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan directed to enhancement

In recent years in our country system work on fight against drug trafficking, psychotropic substances or their analogs, and also strong substances is carried out.

At the same time growth of drug trafficking, psychotropic substances or their analogs, and also strong substances, and the serious health hazard resulting from it and to gene pool of the population cause the necessity of enhancement of responsibility for similar offenses.

This Law in the Criminal code, the Code of penal procedure and the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility, and also to some legal acts makes the additions and changes connected with systematization and enhancement of the regulations establishing responsibility for drug trafficking, psychotropic substances or their analogs and strong substances, and also directed to completion of legal gaps in the legislation and reduction in compliance with other legal acts.

This Law will serve ensuring public safety and procedure, protection of health and gene pool of the population, and also ensuring rule of law.

Part third of article 17 after figure "235" to add 1) with figure "276-10";
