Rules of destruction of the withdrawn counterfeited medicines, substandard medicines and counterfeit medicines

1. These rules determine procedure for retirement and destruction of counterfeited medicines, substandard medicines and counterfeit medicines, except for retirements and destructions of narcotic medicines, psychotropic medicines and radio pharmaceutical medicines.

2. Counterfeited medicines, substandard medicines are subject:

a) to retirement according to the decision of the Federal Service on supervision in the field of health care - concerning medicines for medical application or according to the decision of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance - concerning medicines for veterinary application (further - authorized body) or by a court decision;

b) to destruction according to the relevant decision of authorized body, court or owner of medicines.

3. Counterfeit medicines are liable to withdrawal and destruction by a court decision.
