Section I. General provisions

Article 1. Legislation of Ukraine on flora

The relations in the field of protection, use and reproduction of flora are regulated by the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine "About protection of the surrounding environment", "About natural and reserved fund of Ukraine", the Forest code of Ukraine, this Law and other regulatory legal acts.

The relations in the field of protection, use and reproduction of plants and long-term plantings of agricultural purpose are regulated by the relevant legislation of Ukraine.

The relations concerning acceptance, entry into force, appeal administratively, accomplishment, cancellation of administrative acts in the field of protection, use and reproduction of flora are regulated by the Law of Ukraine "About ministerial procedure" taking into account the features determined by this Law.

Article 2. Tasks of the legislation of Ukraine on flora

Task of the legislation of Ukraine on flora is regulation of the public relations in the field of protection, use and reproduction wild-growing and others nonagricultural purpose of vascular plants, Bryophyta, seaweed, lichens, and also mushrooms, their groups and the place of growths.

Article 3. Determination of the main terms

In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

flora - set of all types of plants, and also mushrooms and the groups formed by them in certain territory;

wild-growing plants - the plants which are naturally growing in certain territory;

natural vegetable groups - set of types of the plants growing within certain sites and being in close interaction as among themselves, and with environment conditions;

acclimatization - adaptation (adaptation) of type to new living conditions in connection with its artificial resettlement;
