About introduction of amendments to the laws of the Azerbaijan Republic "About medical insurance" and "About the rights of persons with disability"

Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Items 1 and 27 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:

Article 1. In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About medical insurance" (The collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2000, No. 1, Article 4 (volume I); 2024, No. 11, article 1182, No. 12 (book II), Articles 1332, 1348; 2025, No. 1, Article 16, No. 3, Article 218, No. 8, Article 743, No. 11, article 1008, No. 12 (book I), Article 1118; 2026, No. 3, Article 205) to make the following changes:

1.1. At the end of Article 1.1.17 to replace point with semicolon, to add Article 1.1.18 of the following content:

"1.1.18. Fund of compulsory medical insurance - the state, specially created state financial fund managed by the body (organization) determined by relevant organ of the executive authority and having the independent budget out of the government budget";

1.2. In Article 15-3.5 of the word "database (electronic information resource) on compulsory medical insurance" shall be replaced with words "the information system specified in article 15-27 of this Law";

1.3. In Article 15-13.1 of the word "the electric organ (organization) determined by relevant organ of the executive authority" shall be replaced with words "specified in article 15-27 of this Law";

1.4. State Article 15-27 in the following edition:

"Article 15-27. Electronic implementation of the transactions connected using compulsory medical insurance.

The transactions connected using compulsory medical insurance are performed in electronic form through information system of the body (organization) determined by the relevant executive body".
