About the special economic zone "Yavoriv"

This Law determines procedure for creation, liquidation and feature of the mechanism of functioning of the special economic zone "Yavoriv".

Article 1. Creation of the special economic zone "Yavoriv"

The special economic zone "Yavoriv" (further - SEZ "Yavoriv") is created for the period till January 1, 2020 in administrative-territorial limits of Yavorivsky district of the Lviv region, except for the territories of the proving ground and military units.

SEZ "Yavoriv" is created for the purpose of investment attraction for:

creations of new workplaces and ensuring employment of the employees of the Yavorivsky state mining and chemical company "Sirka" released in connection with production reduction, reshaping of free production capacities, solutions of environmental problems in Yavorivsky district by creation of conditions for recovery of the lands broken by technogenic influence of mining and chemical production, activation of business activity, growth in volumes of production of goods (works of services), deliveries to the internal and external markets of high-quality competitive products (services), and also implementation of new technologies, market methods of managing and development of infrastructure of special economic zone;

developments of expeditionary and warehouse, transport and service and production spheres in the territory of avtoport "Cracovian".

In the territory of SEZ "Yavoriv" the special legal regime of economic activity determined by the Law of Ukraine "About the general beginnings of creation and functioning of special (free) economic zones" taking into account the features established by this Law is set and is effective.
