About professional creative specialists and the creative unions

This Law determines legal status of professional creative specialists, establishes the legal, social, economic and organizational principles of activities of the creative unions in the field of culture and art.

Section I. General provisions

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

the professional creative specialist - person performing creative activities on professional basis of which the creation or interpretation of works in the field of culture and art which is publicly presenting such works at exhibitions by the publication, scenic execution is result, film, TV, video display and so forth and/or being the member of the creative union, and/or having the state awards for activities in the field of culture and art;

the creative union - the voluntary consolidation of professional creative specialists of the corresponding professional direction in the field of culture and art having the fixed membership and which is acting on the basis of the Charter;

creative activities - individual or collective creativity of which creation or interpretation of the works having cultural value is result.

Article 2. Legislation on professional creative specialists and creative unions

The legislation on professional creative specialists and the creative unions consists of the Constitution of Ukraine, this Law, other regulatory legal acts regulating activities of the creative unions.
