Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Purpose of this Law

The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of financing of activities of judicial bodies.

Article 2. Legislation on financing of activities of judicial bodies

The legislation on financing of activities of judicial bodies consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.

If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about financing of activities of judicial bodies then are applied rules international agreements.

Article 3. Basic principles of financing of activities of judicial bodies

Legality, openness, transparency, sufficient amount of financial resources for ensuring justice, financial independence of activity of the courts are the basic principles of financing of activities of judicial bodies (further in the text - courts).

Chapter 2. Source, basis and features of financing of activity of the courts

Article 4. Source and basis of financing of activity of the courts

Financing of activity of the courts is performed only from the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Means for activities financing are provided in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the next year:

Constitutional court of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The supreme judicial council of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Financing of activity of the courts shall provide possibility of complete and independent implementation of justice.
