About additional measures for further enhancement of system of preparation of professional personnel in the field of ensuring public safety

For the purpose of further enhancement of system of training of qualified specialists for the sphere of ensuring public safety in the country taking into account modern requirements and specifics of activities, and also implementation of procedure for increase and permanent monitoring of professional potential of the personnel serving in this direction I decide:

I. Main objectives

1. Determine main objectives of this resolution:

(a) creation of system of life-long education on preparation of the professional personnel in the field of ensuring public safety having modern knowledge and high practical skills;

(b) transformation of University of public safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - University) as the highest educational and research organization specialized on target training in the direction of ensuring public safety.

II. Enhancement of system of target training

2. Determine that since 2026/2027 academic years at University for the purpose of training on activities of law-enforcement bodies "prevention of offenses", "traffic safety", "protection of public order", and also "security activities" (further - ensuring public safety):

(a) annual quotas of acceptance in the direction of formation of bachelor degree of University increase to 600 cadets on full-time courses and to 300 cadets on remote form of education, three quarters from them are allocated for training in the field of ensuring public safety for system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

(b) distribution of quotas of acceptance and specialties (directions) of training for system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is performed by University proceeding from requirements of law-enforcement bodies, in coordination with Department on public safety and rule of law of Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
