About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About judicial system and the status of judges" and the Law of Ukraine "About the Supreme council of justice" concerning enhancement of declarations of respectability of the judge and family relations of the judge

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About judicial system and the status of judges" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2016, No. 31, Art. 545 with the following changes) the following changes:

1. 3 parts seven of Article 56 to state Item in the following edition:

"3) to submit the declaration of respectability and family relations of the judge".

2. State Articles 61 and 62 in the following edition:

"Article 61. Declaration of respectability and family relations of the judge

1. The judge shall annually, submit till May 1 by filling on the official website of the Highest qualification commission of judges of Ukraine the declaration of respectability and family relations of the judge in the form determined by the Commission.

The declaration of respectability and family relations of the judge consists of the list of approvals which truthfulness the judge shall declare by their confirmation or non-confirmation, and also from the information about persons with which the judge has family relations.

2. In the declaration of respectability and family relations of the judge note:

1) surname, name, judge's middle name, its place of employment, post;

2) data on surname, name, middle name of persons with which the judge has family relations the place of their work (service), post if such persons are or within the last five years preceding year of submission of the declaration were:

a) high councilor of justice, head, deputy, disciplinary inspector of service of disciplinary inspectors of the Supreme council of justice, employee of the secretariat of the Supreme council of justice;

b) member of the Highest qualification commission of judges of Ukraine, employee of the secretariat or inspector of the Highest qualification commission of judges of Ukraine;
