About the special economic zone "Slavutich"

This Law determines procedure for creation, liquidation and feature of the mechanism of functioning of the special economic zone "Slavutich" (further - SEZ "Slavutich").

Article 1. Creation of SEZ "Slavutich"

1. SEZ "Slavutich" is created and the Slavutich of Kiev region for up to January 1, 2020 acts in administrative-territorial city boundaries.

2. The purpose of creation of SEZ "Slavutich" is investment attraction for creation of new workplaces in the city the Slavutich and ensuring employment of employees of the Chernobyl NPP who are released in connection with early conclusion of its power units from operation, growth in volumes of production of goods (works) and services, deliveries to the domestic market of high-quality products and services, and also implementation of new technologies, market methods of managing and development of infrastructure of SEZ "Slavutich", improvement of use natural and manpower.

3. In the territory of SEZ "Slavutich" the special legal regime of economic activity determined by the Law of Ukraine "About the general beginnings of creation and functioning of special (free) economic zones" taking into account the features established by this Law is set and is effective.

Article 3. Governing bodies of SEZ "Slavutich"

Governing bodies of SEZ "Slavutich" are:

Slavutichsky city council and its executive committee within the powers;

the body of economic development and management of SEZ "Slavutich" formed by Slavutichsky city council with the assistance of the certain subjects of business activity acting in the territory of SEZ "Slavutich".
