About temporary restriction of movement of heavy-load vehicles on roads of the republic
For the purpose of non-admission of destructions of coverings of republican highways public and based on item 1 of article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Moldova to N509-XIII of June 22, 1995 "About highways", and also in execution of the order of the Government of July 25, 2007 of N1216-284 I ORDER:
1. Set temporary restriction for movement of heavy-load vehicles with a general cargo weight of 20 tons and more.
2. Prohibit movement of the vehicles specified in item 1 of this order on national highways with asphalt concrete covering during the period from 10:00 till 20:00 in case of air temperature it is higher than 300C.
3. To administrators of roads to notify, using mass media, users of national highways and Customs Service about temporary restrictions in case of their movement on roads of the republic.
4. To provide to divisions of the Ministries of Internal Affairs, transport and road economy control of movement of vehicles taking into account the set temporary restrictions with acceptance of necessary measures for non-admission of movement of vehicles on national highways.
5. Develop the project of the Regulations on temporary restrictions on highways in cases of emergence of emergency situations.
6. Recommend to bodies of local public authority, autonomous territorial education Gagauzia for the purpose of ensuring safety of local highways (with asphalt concrete covering) to set restrictions for heavy-load vehicles in case of their movement on local highways for the periods similar established in item 2 of this order.
7. The restrictions set by this order do not extend to the vehicles transporting passengers, food, perishable loads and materials intended for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations.
