About procedure for the admission and conditions of stay of divisions of armed forces of other states in the territory of Ukraine

This Law establishes procedure for the admission of divisions of armed forces of other states on the territory of Ukraine and condition of their stay in Ukraine, and also procedure of control of their activities during stay in the territory of Ukraine.

Section I. General provisions

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law terms are used in the following value:

the division of armed forces of other state (further - division of armed forces) - military forming of foreign state which has the permanent or temporary organization treats land (land), sea, air or special forces (forces) of this state, is equipped with light arms or heavy military equipment, is under command of person responsible before the state and the laws of Ukraine for behavior of the subordinates who shall observe internal discipline, the laws of Ukraine, rule of international law and which goes to Ukraine with the specific purpose defined by the international treaty of Ukraine;

faces of military personnel - the military personnel passing military service in divisions of armed forces of other states which are directed to Ukraine;

faces of civil personnel are persons working in divisions of armed forces of other states which are directed to Ukraine and are not citizens of Ukraine;

members of families of faces of military and civil personnel are members of families of the military personnel or faces of civil personnel of divisions of armed forces of other states which are on their content, together with them stay in Ukraine and are not her citizens;

the place of dislocation of divisions of armed forces of other states - the territory designated in the agreement, the water area in which divisions are placed.
