About the state forecasting and development of programs of economic and social development of Ukraine

This Law determines the legal, economic and organizational principles of forming of complete system of forecast and program documents of economic and social development, separate industries of economy and separate administrative and territorial units as component of general system of state regulation of economic and social development of the state. The law establishes general procedure for development, approval and accomplishment of the specified forecast and program documents of economic and social development, and also the right and responsibility of participants of the state forecasting and development of programs of economic and social development of Ukraine.

Section I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

the state forecasting of economic and social development - evidence-based anticipation of the directions of development of the country, separate industries of economy or separate administrative and territorial units, possible state of the economy and the social sphere in the future, and also alternative ways and terms of achievement of parameters of economic and social development. The forecast of economic and social development is means of reasons for the choice of this or that strategy and adoption of specific decisions by state bodies, local government bodies on regulation of social and economic processes;

programs of economic and social development - the state target programs of economic, social development, the program of economic, social development of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, areas, areas, cities;

forecast and program documents of economic and social development - the documents meeting the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine about documents and displaying forecasts and programs of economic and social development;
