The special (free) economic zone "Free port" (further - SEZ "Free port") is created for the term of 25 years in the territory of the Odessa sea trade port within the territory of the Quarantine pier which is artificially filled and washed in the water area of Odessa Bay of the Black Sea by Ploshchad 32, of hectare. From the East, the North and the West the territory of SEZ "Free port" borders on the water area of Odessa Bay of the Black Sea. In the south the border of SEZ "Free port" 660 meters long passes on shore. Total length of perimeter of the territory of SEZ "Free port" constitutes 3 kilometers. The original of the card SEZ "Free port" is stored in the Odessa city council.
2. The purpose of creation of SEZ "Free port" is investment attraction in priority industries of production for preserving existing and creations of new workplaces, implementations of the latest technologies, assistance to development of foreign economic relations and entrepreneurship, loading of capacities of port complex and development of its infrastructure, increase in deliveries of high-quality products and services, creations of modern production, transport and market infrastructure.
3. In the territory of SEZ "Free port" the special legal regime of economic activity determined by the Law of Ukraine "About the general beginnings of creation and functioning of special (free) economic zones" taking into account the features established by this Law is set and is effective.
