About anti-doping control in sport
This Law determines legal and organizational conditions of implementation of anti-doping control in Ukraine, participations of the relevant organizations and organizations in prevention, the prevention of application and distribution of dope in sport.
In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:
dope - the substances and methods applied to increase in working ability of athletes are potentially dangerous to their health and are prohibited for use by the anti-doping Code of the Olympic Movement and competent authorities of the relevant sports organizations;
testing for dope - accomplishment of the established procedure of capture and research of biological tests of athletes for the purpose of identification of availability of substances in their organism or establishments of application of the methods prohibited by the anti-doping Code of the Olympic Movement and competent authorities of the relevant sports organizations.
The legislation of Ukraine on anti-doping control consists of this Law and other laws of Ukraine.
If the international treaty of Ukraine which consent to be bound is this the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine establishes other regulations, than those which are provided by this Law then are applied regulations of the international treaty.
In the territory of Ukraine the organization and implementation of anti-doping control in sport is carried out with observance of requirements of the anti-doping Code of the Olympic Movement and assigned to the National anti-doping center with laboratory of anti-doping control in its structure which is created by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
