About national art crafts

This Law governs the legal, organizational and economic relations in the field of national art crafts, determines the status of subjects of national art crafts, bases of their activities and is directed to protection, revival, preserving and development of national art crafts as important compound spiritual culture of the Ukrainian people.

Protection, revival, preserving and development of national art crafts is obligation of the state.

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

national art trade - creative and productive activity which purpose is creation of art products of arts and crafts appointment, performed on the basis of collective development and successive development of traditions of folk art in certain area in the course of creative work of masters of national art crafts;

the center of national art trade - the territory within which according to original traditions national art trade historically developed and develops;

product of national art trade - the art product of arts and crafts appointment made according to traditions of this trade by manual operation or with use of mechanical work in preparatory and auxillary operations;

unique product national art the product of national art trade promyslayedinstvenny in own way having art, historical, ethnographic and scientific value;

the master of national art trade - the physical person, the carrier of traditions of folk art creating and producing products of national art trade according to its traditions;

standard sample of product national art promyslovizdely, carried to products of national art crafts and recommended in production;

serial product of national art crafts - the product of national art crafts executed on standard sample in alternative accomplishment;
