About development of the aircraft constructing industry

This Law creates conditions for development of the aircraft constructing industry, provides accomplishment of the sovereign obligations of the state aimed at the development of the aircraft constructing industry, preserving and increase in workplaces at the companies of allied industries.

This Law is intended for strengthening of civil and military safety of Ukraine, providing competitiveness of airplanes, engines for them and aeronautical equipment of national production.

Article 1. Recognize aircraft construction as priority industry of economy of Ukraine and refer research and development works on creation of the new aircraft equipment to category of critical technologies.

Article 2. This Law is applied to legal entities - the residents of Ukraine performing activities in the field of the aircraft constructing industry and according to the law having the corresponding licenses, and also appropriate certificates for the right of development or production, either repair, or re-equipment, or modification, or maintenance of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines (further - subjects of aircraft construction) and to two of such criteria corresponding at least:

a) perform development of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, production of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, repair of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines;

b) execute the state or defense order on development of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, production of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, repair of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines;

c) provide accomplishment of the international obligations by Ukraine on implementation of the international contracts on development of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, delivery of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, production of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines, repair of the aircraft equipment and aviation engines.
