About giving of the status of the basic organization of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States to Russian State Library federal state institution for cooperation in the field of library science

According to the Concept of forming of single (general) educational space of the Commonwealth of Independent States approved by the Decision of Council of CIS Heads of Government of January 17, 1997 and the Agreement on cooperation on forming of single (general) educational space of the Commonwealth of Independent States of January 17, 1997 the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States solved:

1. Give to Russian State Library federal state institution the status of the basic organization of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States for cooperation in the field of library science.

2. Approve Regulations on the basic organization of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States for cooperation in the field of library science it (is applied).

3. The decision becomes effective from the date of its signing, and for the State Parties which legislation requires accomplishment of the interstate procedures necessary for its entry into force, - from date of delivery of the relevant documents to depositary.

It is made in the city of Dushanbe on May 25, 2006 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in Executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will send to each state which signed this Decision, its verified copy.
