About agricultural consultative activities

This Law determines the legal basis of implementation of agricultural consultative activities in Ukraine, governs the relations in this sphere and is directed to improvement of welfare of rural population and development of the rural zone.

Article 1. Main terms and concepts

In this Law the stated below terms and concepts are used in the following value:

consultative services - the services rendered by subjects of agricultural consultative activities to subjects of managing which perform activities in the rural zone, to rural population, and also local government bodies and executive bodies;

the certificate of competency of the agricultural adviser, the agricultural expert-adviser (further - the certificate of competency) - the document confirming sufficient professional level of training of the agricultural adviser, agricultural expert-adviser in the program of basic preparation for independent implementation of agricultural consultative activities;

the certificate of agricultural consultative service (далеесертификат) - the document certifying the right of the subject of agricultural consultative activities to rendering consultative services by its entering into the Register of agricultural consultative services (further - the Register of consultative services);

the rural zone - the territories which are outside the cities and being mainly zones of agricultural production and rural building;

agricultural consultative activities (daleesoveshchatelny activities) - set of the actions and measures directed to satisfaction of needs personal country and farms, economic societies, other agricultural enterprises of all patterns of ownership and managing, and also rural population in increase in level of knowledge and enhancement of practical skills of profitable housekeeping;
