About the state support of youth and children's public associations in the Republic of Belarus

This Law determines guarantees, the general principles, content and measures of the state support of youth and children's public associations, associations (unions) of youth and (or) children's associations in the Republic of Belarus (further - youth and children's associations) on republican and local levels in volume of target financing from means republican and the local budgets and state non-budgetary funds of the Republic of Belarus provided on these purposes.
Operation of this Law does not extend on:
youth and children's religious organizations;
the youth and student's associations which are labor unions.
The legislation of the Republic of Belarus on the state support of youth and children's associations consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
The state support of youth and children's associations is understood as set of the measures taken by the President of the Republic of Belarus and state bodies according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus in the field of the state youth policy for the purpose of creation and providing legal, economic and organizational conditions, guarantees and incentives of the activities of such associations directed to social formation, development and self-realization of children and youth in public life and also for the purpose of protection and protection of their rights.
