The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
noting important role of military cooperation, including concerning preparation of military personnel, based on mutual respect, trust and accounting of interests of each of the Parties,
agreed as follows:
The parties perform the coordinated actions directed to preparation of officer personnel proceeding from needs of their armed forces. Preparation of military personnel for Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova will be performed, since set of 1993, the Russian military schools according to requests on contractual basis, with the exceptions provided in Article 2 of this agreement.
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation provides to cadets and students of military schools in which they arrived to set of 1992, the right free of charge to continue and finish training in the Russian military schools.
On the basis of this agreement the Parties develop the annual plan of preparation of officer personnel in military schools of the Russian Federation.
The annual plan of preparation of officer personnel in military schools of the Russian Federation is developed by the working groups of the Parties till the November 15 every year preceding year of receipt.
The annual plan of preparation of officer personnel joins the required number of educational places, terms of preparation, specialty in which preparation of officer personnel for Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova, and other questions is planned.
The annual plan of preparation of officer personnel is signed by authorized persons of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
