The State Parties of this agreement, hereinafter referred to as "State Parties", being guided by the Agreement between the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States on social and legal guarantees of the military personnel, persons discharged from military service, and members of their families from February 14, 1992, considering importance of medical support of the military personnel and members of their families, workers and the serving Armed Forces of the states of members of the Commonwealth, the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth in maintenance of fighting capacity of troops and forces of the fleet, agreed as follows:
Military personnel of Armed Forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth, the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth in the presence of medical indications go on: inspection and treatment in military-medical organizations of the states of the Commonwealth on non-discriminatory basis. In case of absence on the duty station or accommodation of military-medical organizations, and also in urgent cases, medical care is provided freely in civil healthcare institutions of the states of participants, irrespective of their departmental accessory.
Medical care to members of families of the military personnel, workers and employees of Armed Forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth, the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth appears in medical institutions of local authorities of health care on identical conditions with citizens of the respective State Parties.
In cases when it is impossible (the closed, remote garrisons, groups of troops), medical care is provided in military-medical organizations of the specified garrisons, groups of troops.
