agreed as follows:

Article 1

The State Parties of the Commonwealth shall perform the approved actions aimed at providing uniform procedure for appeal, completing and passing of military service in Border troops of the Commonwealth, observing at the same time the following principles:

1. Establishment of military age from 18 to 27 years;

2. Combination of compulsory military service at the call of with military service of soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen under the contract;

3. Establishment of duration of compulsory military service at the call of for:

sailors and foremen of sea parts - 2 years with establishment of additional benefits, compensations for the increased term of military service;

the soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen having the higher education - 1 year;

other soldiers and sergeants - 1 year and 6 months;

4. Implementation of appeal of citizens on compulsory military service, sending them in troops and transfer to the reserve two times a year: in the apreleiyena and October-December;

5. Completing of Border troops of the Commonwealth on the basis of combination of the territorial and exterritorial principle according to the legislation of the State Parties of the Commonwealth.

6. Preserving the existing procedure for training of specialists for Border troops of the Commonwealth in the existing system preinduction (initial military) training of youth and training of specialists for the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth.
