Agreement on the principles and procedure for accomplishment of military transportations

The State Parties of this agreement, hereinafter referred to as "State Parties",

based on Article 7 of the Agreement on creation of the Commonwealth of Independent States and in view of role and the place of military transportations in safety of each State Party and Commonwealth in general,

considering the existing organization of military transportations in the territory of the State Parties of the Commonwealth and the principles of the organization of military transportations in the international transport connection,

based on agreements of the State Parties of the Commonwealth on defense questions and work of transport,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

1. Military transportations include transportation of troops and military loads of the Joint Armed Forces and own armed forces of the State Parties (further - military transportations) railway, air, sea, river and road transport public on the territory of the certain states and between the State Parties.

2. For accomplishment of military transportations the State Parties provide necessary automobiles and bonds, special military devices and the equipment.

Article 2

Calculations for military transportations with transport organizations of the State Parties are made:

for the military transportations executed for the benefit of the Joint Armed Forces - at the expense of the means allocated for maintenance of the Joint Armed Forces;

for the military transportations executed for the benefit of own armed forces - at the expense of the funds allocated by these states for their financing.

Article 3

The State Parties charge to the Council of Ministers of Defense of the State Parties of the Commonwealth and the Ministries of Defence (committees on defense) of the states having own armed forces, the solution of the following current and perspective questions connected with accomplishment of military transportations;
