About library science in the Republic of Belarus
This Law determines legal, economic, social, organizational basis of library science and guarantees the inalienable right of each citizen to open entry to library stocks, regulates relations of libraries with the state, legal entities and physical persons for the purpose of satisfaction of needs of society in library stocks.
The legislation of the Republic of Belarus on library science consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
