About formation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. Form the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan, having abolished in accordance with the established procedure the Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of social protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. Assign to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan:

development and realization of state policy in the field of work, social protection of the population and provision of pensions;

development and implementation of measures for enhancement of wages system of workers of the budget sphere;

development of regulations and the minimum requirements on compensation, pensions and other social payments;

development of programs of rational use of manpower and targeted support of the most vulnerable segments of the population;

assistance to development of business activity and independent employment of the jobless citizens and persons who are looking for work and also to application of different work arrangements;

organizational and methodical management of retraining of jobless and unoccupied citizens;

implementation of the state control of compliance with law about work, provision of pensions, labor protection and employment of the population;

implementation of international backgrounds and cooperation in the field of work, employment, migration and social protection of the population.
