About application of cash registers when implementing cash calculations with the population

For the purpose of elimination of the available shortcomings and strengthening of control of implementation of cash calculations with the population the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. To all companies (including to the physical persons performing business activity without formation of legal entity), to the organizations, organizations, their branches and other separate divisions (further the companies) when carrying out trading activity by them or rendering services in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan to make cash calculations with the population with obligatory application of cash registers.

The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan determines the list of separate categories of the companies which owing to specifics of the activities or features of the location can perfrom cash calculations with the population without application of cash registers.

2. Item 1 of this Decree is applied:

a) since January 1, 1995 in again opened companies;

b) since March 1, 1994:

in the cities of Dushanbe and Khujand at all companies (including concerning the physical persons performing business activity without formation of legal entity);

in the shops and other outlets of the republic trading cars, construction materials, furniture, jewelry from precious metals, precious and semiprecious stones, antiques, and also alcoholic beverages;

in department stores and in the specialized shops trading body - and the radio equipment;

with restaurants and hotels, at gas stations;

in exchange bureaus of foreign currency and in the shops trading for foreign currency;

c) since January 1, 1996 in the cities, the district centers and other areas at all companies which are not specified in subitems "an" and "b" of this Item.

3. The companies which according to Item 1 of this Decree shall apply cash registers shall:
