1. Determine that concerning citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan:

1). Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan:

a) accepts from persons living in the territory of the cities and areas of republican subordination and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of the statement and petitions;

b) checks the facts and documents submitted to reasons for statements and petitions;

c) takes out according to the petition for acquisition go the termination of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan the motivated conclusion, and in necessary cases constitutes representation which together with other relevant documents sends in the procedure established by the Law to the Commission on questions of pardon and nationality in case of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;

d) determines belonging of persons living in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan to citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan;

e) according to statements of the interested persons living in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan performs registration of acquisition or the termination of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cases provided by the Law;

e) performs decisions on cases on nationality concerning persons living in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan and represents to the Commission on questions of pardon and nationality in case of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan: data on execution of presidential decrees of the Republic of Tajikistan concerning citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan for every half-year; lists of persons concerning which registration about acquisition or the termination of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan is performed (quarterly).
