1. The state committee of Ukraine for veterans (Goskomveteranov) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Labour and Social Policy.
2. Goskomveteranov in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and also the presidential decrees of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and also this Provision.
Goskomveteranov will organize accomplishment of acts of the legislation within the powers, exercises control of their realization, generalizes practice of application of the legislation on questions which are within its competence, develops offers concerning enhancement of the legislation.
