The State Parties of this agreement on behalf of the governments which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

proceeding from need of ensuring the high level of training of personnel for law-enforcement bodies (police) and internal troops of the Parties answering to challenges and threats of the modern world

expressing aspiration to creation of effective mechanisms of interaction in this sphere,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the following terms are used:

"educational institution" - educational institution of the higher, secondary and additional professional education in which training for law-enforcement bodies (police) and internal troops of the Parties is performed;

"sending party" - the State Party of the Commonwealth of Independent States directing the staff of law-enforcement bodies (police) and the military personnel of internal troops for preparation in educational institutions of other Parties;

"host party" - the State Party of the Commonwealth of Independent States accepting the staff of law-enforcement bodies (police) and the military personnel of internal troops of other Parties for preparation in the educational institutions.

Article 2

The parties perform cooperation in training through the competent authorities according to this agreement in case of observance of the national legal system and international treaties which participants they are.

The list of competent authorities is determined by each Party and transferred to depositary in case of delivery of the notification on accomplishment of the interstate procedures necessary for the introduction of this agreement in force.

Each of the Parties within one month in writing notifies depositary on changes in the list of competent authorities.
