Article 1. Enact the Penitentiary code of the Republic of Belarus of January 11, 2000 since January 1, 2001.

Article 2. Due to the enforcement of the Penitentiary code of the Republic of Belarus to recognize invalid:

The corrective labor code of the Republic of Belarus of July 16, 1971 (further - the Corrective labor code of the Republic of Belarus) (SZ BSSR, 1971, No. 21, the Art. 298), and also all legal acts or their separate provisions which during the period make from July 16, 1971 to January 1, 2001 changes and additions to the Corrective labor code of the Republic of Belarus or the concerning applications of its regulations, except for the provisions keeping the action in the cases and procedure provided by this Law then they are considered invalid;

Article 3. Persons who are conditionally condemned till January 1, 2001 to imprisonment with obligatory involvement of the convict to work continue to leave this measure of criminal liability in the places determined by the bodies knowing execution of sentences according to Articles 82-1, 82-2, 82-3, 82-4, 82-5, 82-6, 82-7, 82-8 of the Corrective labor code of the Republic of Belarus.
