2. This resolution becomes effective after ten calendar days after the first official publication.

Rules about plimsoll mark of ocean ships

1. General provisions

1. These rules about plimsoll mark of ocean ships (daleepravil) are developed according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January 17, 2002 "About merchant shipping" and determine procedure for plimsoll mark of ocean ships and issue of free board certificates on ocean ships.

2. Action of these rules extends to the following vessels:

1) making the international swimming, except for:

new courts less than 24 m long;

the existing courts with a gross tonnage less than 150 tons;

the pleasure yachts which are not engaged in transportations;

fishing boats;

2) 24 m long and more, not making the international swimming, except for:

the pleasure yachts which are not engaged in transportations;

fishing boats;

3) all types of new floating drilling rigs.

3. Action of these rules does not extend to the ocean ships floating under the flag of Naval forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and sea parts of the border service.
