About entrepreneurship in the Republic of Belarus
This Law determines legal, economic basis of entrepreneurship, general provisions of the organization of business activity, regulates order of registration and the terminations of activities, the right, obligation and responsibility of subjects of entrepreneurship, establishes measures of the state protection, support and regulation of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Belarus.
The law is directed to creation of conditions for broad manifestation of economic initiative and enterprise of citizens on the basis of realization of the principle of equality of all patterns of ownership, freedoms of the order by property and the choice of fields of activity.
The procedure for creation and registration of specific forms of business of business activity is regulated by the relevant legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
Entrepreneurship (business activity) the independent, initiative activities of citizens directed to profit earning or personal income and performed on its own behalf on the risk and under the property responsibility or from name and under property responsibility of the legal entity (company).
Business activity can be performed in the form of individual labor activity, and also in different forms of business of the companies (legal entities).
Activities of physical persons for use of own securities, bank accounts as instruments of payment or preserving cash acquisitions are not entrepreneurship.
Subjects of entrepreneurship are:
the physical persons which are not limited in the rights according to the procedure, determined by legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, including foreign citizens and stateless persons within the rights and obligations provided by the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
group of citizens (partners) - groups of entrepreneurs.
