About additional measures for traffic safety
According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About traffic safety", and also for the purpose of prevention of the road accidents, the Cabinet of Ministers decides protection of life, health and property of citizens:
1. Prohibit since January 1, 2008 use during vehicle control TV, the video monitor established by manufacturer in front part of inside of the vehicle and also unauthorized establishment TV, video monitors in front part of inside of the vehicle.
2. To the Ministry of Justice together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, other interested ministries and departments in ten-day time to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on corresponding changes and amendments in the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility.
3. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
in ten-day time to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this resolution;
provide in accordance with the established procedure bringing to data of transport drivers and the population of requirements of this resolution with carrying out among them necessary explanatory work.
4. In Item 3.6 of the Traffic regulations approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 11, 2000 No. 472 (joint venture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2000, No. 12, of the Art. 75), to make the following changes and additions:
a) the ninth to state the paragraph in the following edition:
"use during vehicle control phone, and also the established manufacturer in front part of inside of the vehicle TV, video monitor";
b) add with the paragraph the tenth the following content:
