Article 1. Enact the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus of July 9, 1999 (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 1999, No. 76, 2/50) (further - the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus) since January 1, 2001.
Article 2. Due to the enforcement of the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus to recognize invalid:
1. The criminal code of the Republic of Belarus approved by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of December 29, 1960 (SZ BSSR, 1961, No. 1, the Art. 4) (further - the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus of 1960), and also all legal acts or their separate provisions which to the period make from December 29, 1960 to January 1, 2001 the changes and additions in the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus of 1960 or concerning application of its regulations, except for the provisions keeping the action in the cases and procedure provided by this Law.
2. The decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus of March 13, 1961 "About procedure for enforcement of Criminal and Criminal procedure codes of the Republic of Belarus" regarding enforcement of the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus of 1960 (SZ BSSR, 1961, No. 8, the Art. 56).
3. The resolution of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus of March 13, 1961 "About application of the Decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus of March 13, 1961 "About procedure for enforcement of Criminal and Criminal procedure codes of the Republic of Belarus" regarding application of the Decree on enforcement of the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus of 1960.
4. The law of the Republic of Belarus of February 10, 1997 "About administrative supervision of persons exempted from places of detention" (Vedamastsi Natsyyanalnaga to descent of Respubliki Belarus, 1997, No. 27, the Art. 467).
