This Law determines the legal basis of activities of state bodies, legal entities and physical persons of the Republic of Belarus in the field of export control and governs the relations arising in connection with movement through customs border of the Republic of Belarus and use of objects of export control.
For the purposes of this Law the main terms have the following value:
goods - any personal estate;
export - export of objects of export control for permanent placement outside customs area of the Republic of Belarus;
import - import of objects of export control for permanent placement on customs area of the Republic of Belarus;
re-export - export out of limits of customs area of the Republic of Belarus of earlier imported objects of export control which did not undergo to conversion;
transit - movement of objects of export control through the territory of the Republic of Belarus between two Items of Frontier of the Republic of Belarus under customs control;
import and export - the actual movement of objects of export control through customs border of the Republic of Belarus;
weapons of mass destruction - chemical, bacteriological (biological), radiological or nuclear weapons;
