In pursuance of the Decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan of July 29, 1993 No. 97 "About compensation to the population of losses from depreciation of the savings which are in Savings bank of the Republic of Tajikistan" Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. To the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan and Savings bank of the Republic of Tajikistan:

a) develop and approve procedure for charge and payment of compensation for population deposits, sale and bond purchase of the State internal premium bonds of the Republic of Tajikistan of 1992, and also payment of the amounts for the state target non-interest loans of 1990 and the state treasury obligations of 1990 of the former USSR;

b) provide in the republican budget (taking into account use of the credit of National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan) for 1993 and in the years ahead expense recovery, connected with servicing of internal Public debt;

c) recommend to National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan to grant to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan the loan due to the made bezresursny credit issue in the amount 5, 5 billion rubles with subsequent their transfer to Savings bank of the Republic of Tajikistan on interest-free basis for repayment of expenses on servicing of internal Public debt of the Republic of Tajikistan, with loan repayment period June, 1998;

d) to direct income gained from turnover of bezresursny credit issue during the specified time completely to repayment of internal debt of the Republic of Tajikistan and to annually provide reports on use of these resources.

2. Take into consideration and to management that is solved by the Decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan of July 29, 1993:

a) carry out compensation of deposits of the population as of January 1, 1993 for 100 percent irrespective of their movement in 1993.

On the population contributions made after January 1, 1993 and not withdrawn for May 1, 1993 to increase compensation by 50 percent;
