About some measures for protection of the Caspian Sea against pollution

The state takes purposeful measures for improvement of ecological situation along the coast of the Caspian Sea in the Azerbaijan Republic. Considering noted, for the purpose of improvement of ecological situation in coastal strip of the Caspian Sea, I decide:

1. For construction in coastal strip of the Bilgyakh-Shuvelyansky zone and the island Piralakhi of the city of Baku of 12 local cleaning installations of modular type to allocate from the Reserve fund of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic provided by the government budget of the Azerbaijan Republic for 2007 means in the amount of 3, of 5 million manats.

2. Charge to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Azerbaijan Republic to provide construction and commissioning of local cleaning installations of modular type.

3. Charge to the Ministry of Finance of the Azerbaijan Republic to provide provision of means, the stipulated in Item 1 this Order.

4. For the purpose of ensuring normal and continuous operation of the built water purifiers and implementation of their maintenance to transfer these installations according to the legislation to use of the relevant municipalities.

5. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic to resolve the issues following from this Order.

6. This Order becomes effective from the date of its signing.
