Article 1. General provisions

1. The central commission on elections and holding referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic (further - Central Election Commission) is the permanent independent central public authority heading system of the commissions formed for preparation and elections and referenda in the Kyrgyz Republic.

4. Determine that the Central Election Commission is placed in the certain office building located in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic the city of Bishkek.

Article 2. Procedure for forming and status of Central Election Commission

1. The Central Election Commission is created for a period of five years according to the Constitution and this Law as a part of the Chairman and 12 members of Central Election Commission with the right of casting vote.

2. The chairman of Central Election Commission is appointed the President with the consent of Jogorku Kenesh and is the state official.
