The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

in view of provisions of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of education of May 15, 1992 and the Agreement on cooperation on forming of single (general) educational space of the Commonwealth of Independent States of January 17, 1997,

considering the increasing role of information and communication technologies in education,

for the purpose of coordination of further interaction in development of the approved approaches to integration of educational resources of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The concepts used in this agreement mean:

informatization of education system of the State Parties Sngprivedeny all education system in compliance with requirements and opportunities of information society;

Interstate network of remote educational technologies - the network combining the organization and the studying states of the Parties getting education by means of remote educational technologies.

Article 2

The parties coordinate performance of works, preparation and projects implementation in the field of informatization of education systems within forming of single (general) educational space of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Article 3

The parties will approve measures for organizational support of cooperation between the organizations of the states of the Parties for development and use of information and communication technologies, remote educational technologies.

The parties help the organization of interstate network of remote educational technologies in the territories of the states of the Parties on the basis of the corresponding international treaties and according to the procedure, established by national legal systems of the states of the Parties.
